  • Providing basic education to more children is valuable than providing more education to fewer children.

  • Educating a girl child is equivalent to Educating a family.

  • Young children should not stop their education because of the loss of a parent.

  • Provide transparent, accurate, honest, and easy to understand information to like-minded donors.


Policy

  • Uma Lakshmi Educational Trust will sponsor all selected Students in 2022, starting September for the academic year 2022-23.

  • Umalakshmi Educational Trust sponsoring only Government Aided and Government school students.

  • Students from VI Standard to XII Standard. The overall aggregate of the Students must be above 60 % for Previous year Annual examination.

  • For the selected students, tuition fees will be paid by Trust until they complete their school studies (class XII) but all standard must under Government Aided.

  • Every year IT returns will be filed with help of an auditor

  • All donors of Umalakshmi Educational Trust are eligible for Income tax exemption as per 12 A/ 12 B and 80G

  • Sponsorship for college students started from the year of 2026-2027 and preference given for UET students

  • Umalakshmi Educational Trust will communicate with children/students only through their respective schools.

  • The Trust will not send any direct invitations, sponsorship-related communications, or program information to children/students individually.

  • All official communications regarding scholarships, sponsorship programs, events, or other Trust activities will be shared exclusively through the designated school representative/coordinator.

  • We kindly request schools to ensure that all necessary information is communicated to the concerned students and parents through the appropriate school channel.
